Seeking a full-time Senior Staff Engineer with over 10 years of experience, this hands-on role focuses on designing, debugging, and enhancing LustreFS features while collaborating across engineering, quality engineering, and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug features and enhancements for LustreFS subsystems
- Investigate and resolve customer and scale-related defects through root-cause analysis
- Contribute to performance tuning and reliability improvements for large-scale Lustre deployments
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in systems software, distributed systems, or Linux kernel engineering
- Strong expertise in LustreFS development with depth in at least one major subsystem
- Proficient in C programming and Linux systems debugging
- Working knowledge of Linux kernel internals and performance analysis
- Experience with high-performance transports such as RDMA or InfiniBand
