Senior Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the multi-year technical strategy for Identity & Access Management, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will unify workforce, AI agent, and service/workload identity into a coherent platform while driving architecture decisions and adoption across 700+ internal systems in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and own the end-to-end technical strategy and architecture for IAM, ensuring consistency and efficiency across identity types
- Establish standards and integration contracts while driving architecture decisions across multiple engineering teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to translate regulatory requirements into automated controls and evidence generation
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record as a senior technical leader across multiple teams
- Deep expertise in Identity & Access Management, including service or workload identity and relevant protocols
- Experience with production-level Go programming and distributed systems design on AWS
- Ability to influence without authority and secure leadership alignment on complex access-risk issues
- Strong skills in translating audit requirements into automated technical controls for executive audiences
