Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the multi-year technical strategy for Identity & Access Management, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will unify various identity types into a coherent platform while driving architecture decisions and adoption across 700+ internal systems in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the architecture that integrates workforce, AI agent, and service/workload identity under a common model
• Establish standards and integration contracts across multiple teams to ensure consistent implementation of IAM solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to translate regulatory requirements into automated controls and evidence generation

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on multi-team platform leadership and architecture adoption
• Extensive IAM expertise across workforce, authorization, and service identity, with experience in service-to-service authentication
• Proficiency in Go and distributed systems design on AWS, along with knowledge of identity protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and SAML
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction across teams and secure leadership alignment on complex access-risk issues
• Experience in translating audit and regulatory requirements into automated technical controls
