Senior Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
As a senior technical leader in a full-time hybrid role, the Senior Staff Software Engineer will set architectural direction across multiple scrum teams, tackle performance and scalability challenges, and drive the development of data-access and data-movement products within the Workflow Data Fabric platform.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture for Zero Copy Connectors and the technical direction of Remote Process Sync, ensuring high performance and reliability
- Provide cross-team technical leadership across the WDF portfolio, driving coherent designs and consistent security patterns
- Mentor and grow senior engineers while writing production code and leading architecture and design reviews
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in large-scale distributed systems or data platforms
- Deep expertise in distributed systems fundamentals, including query processing and data integration
- Strong hands-on coding ability in systems languages like Java, C++, Go, or Scala
- Demonstrated track record of leading architecture across multiple teams for complex platform initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
