Senior Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading complex enterprise deployments, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer on the GAIL Team will set strategic direction, manage escalated engagements, and build the infrastructure necessary for AI adoption while working flexibly or remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage the most complex GAIL and Go-Live Support engagements, ensuring program reputation is upheld
- Define and implement the strategic direction for GAIL tooling and infrastructure, including roadmap ownership
- Mentor and develop team engineers, enhancing their capabilities and shaping future leaders within the practice
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in enterprise product work and customer delivery
- Expert-level coding ability in JavaScript and proficiency in one or more additional languages (Java, Python, etc.)
- Deep experience with deploying and integrating AI features and GenAI models across various customer environments
- Strong judgment on prompt engineering and non-deterministic model behavior, with a focus on reliability and production readiness
- Proven ability to build and scale shared infrastructure and platforms relied upon by multiple teams
