Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Software Engineer to work remotely, who will define and evolve the Identity & Trust platform, focusing on secure customer onboarding, identity verification, and fraud prevention while leading architectural initiatives across multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define the technical vision and multi-year roadmap for Identity & Trust, establishing scalable patterns across various trust capabilities
• Drive complex technical initiatives from problem definition through implementation, ensuring high-impact solutions across services
• Design secure, resilient distributed systems and APIs, emphasizing security, privacy, and regulatory compliance

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on technical leadership in large-scale distributed systems
• Proven ability to lead architecture and delivery across multiple engineering teams without direct authority
• Deep hands-on experience with secure, highly available backend systems and identity, trust, and security protocols
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python, with experience in REST APIs and microservices
• Experience with identity platforms and architecting trust domains such as KYC, fraud systems, and secure document processing
