Senior Storage Administrator
Job Summary
To support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Background Investigations Enterprise System (BIES) Mainframe program, the full-time remote Senior Storage Administrator will manage and improve enterprise storage environments, including SAN and NAS systems, ensuring their availability, performance, security, and recoverability.
Key responsibilities
- Configure and manage enterprise Storage Area Network (SAN) arrays and associated storage resources
- Monitor storage health, capacity, utilization, and performance, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions
- Administer and troubleshoot enterprise backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery capabilities
Required qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience administering enterprise storage or SAN environments
- Hands-on experience with SAN arrays, Fibre Channel switching, and storage connectivity
- Strong understanding of configuration management, change control, and incident management
