Senior Storage Administrator
Job Summary
Supporting a mixed and growing environment of enterprise storage hardware, the full-time Senior Storage Administrator will manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support servers and storage systems remotely or onsite in Virginia, while ensuring DoD cybersecurity compliance and supporting mission-critical Army IT services.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support enterprise servers and storage systems
- Assist with implementing new system hardware and software, providing input for local operating procedures and policies
- Design, install, configure, secure, and maintain highly available enterprise data storage systems
Required qualifications
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Three or more years of experience in design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise data storage systems
- Experience with Windows, Solaris, and RHEL/OEL Linux environments
