Job Summary
To support mission-critical financial applications, the contract Senior Storage and Backup Engineer will provide technical support, perform storage and backup provisioning, and manage system integrity while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provides technical and production support for storage-related software and hardware
- Performs storage and backup provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Participates in project activities and manages incident and problem resolution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong understanding of storage hardware platforms (e.g., Hitachi, Dell)
- Expert level experience with Commvault and Cohesity
- Hands-on experience with enterprise storage operations and incident response
- Familiarity with automation/scripting tools (Ansible, Python, PowerShell)
