Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Structural Engineer will perform innovative design engineering, including developing plans, reviewing structural calculations, and managing multiple assignments to ensure safe and cost-effective construction processes across various project types.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and mentors less experienced engineers while solving design issues and generating innovative solutions
• Reviews and corrects engineering and design documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with codes and standards
• Leads mid to major-sized projects independently, managing project objectives and scope changes effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required
• 10 - 20 years of relevant experience in the Industrial or Power Generation industry
• Ability to train and lead a team of engineers on complex projects
• Strong skills in developing and presenting well-structured written and verbal communications
• Experience in collaborating across departments to solve complex problems and improve processes
