Senior Structural Steel Detailer
Job Summary
To support a dynamic team, the full-time Senior Structural Steel Detailer will lead the production of high-quality structural steel fabrication drawings, utilizing Revit and Tekla Structures, while collaborating with engineers and project managers in a remote capacity for candidates in select states.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Revit modeling and detailing for complex projects, ensuring deliverables meet fabrication and erection requirements
- Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings, while managing larger scopes of fabrication projects
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and junior detailers to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Revit Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience
- Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures
- Strong knowledge of AISC codes and relevant industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Experience with clash detection and coordination
