Senior Structural Steel Detailer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Structural Steel Detailer, this remote position will lead Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, ensuring high-quality structural steel fabrication drawings while collaborating with engineers and project managers.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, ensuring deliverables meet fabrication and erection requirements
• Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings while coordinating with project teams for accuracy and efficiency
• Produce shop drawings, erection drawings, and material take-offs, while managing revisions throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a Tekla Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures and strong knowledge of AISC codes
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and perform clash detection
• Experience in managing fabrication projects and collaborating with engineering teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently while leading projects
