Job Summary
Leading Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, the full-time Senior Structural Steel Detailer will produce high-quality structural steel fabrication drawings while collaborating with engineers and project managers, primarily working onsite and remotely from various states.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Tekla modeling and detailing for fabrication projects, ensuring deliverables meet requirements
- Produce shop drawings, erection drawings, and material take-offs while managing revisions throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve design and fabrication issues, performing quality checks on drawings
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Tekla Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience
- Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures and strong knowledge of AISC codes
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and perform clash detection
- Experience managing projects independently while leading a detailing team
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
