Senior Structural Steel Detailer

Job Summary

Leading complex structural steel projects, the full-time Senior Structural Steel Detailer will produce high-quality fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures while collaborating with engineers and project managers in a remote capacity for candidates residing in select states.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, ensuring deliverables meet fabrication and erection requirements
• Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings, and coordinate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Review and check drawings for quality, compliance with project standards, and manage revisions throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a Tekla Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures and strong knowledge of AISC codes and industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and experience with clash detection and coordination
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
