Senior Subrogation Claims Representative

Job Summary

Proactively managing worker's compensation subrogation claims, the full-time Senior Subrogation Claims Representative will exercise discretion in determining liability, negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys, and ensure claims reach final disposition efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

• Investigates and analyzes claims to determine potential liability and effectively settles with adverse parties
• Develops and manages action plans for subrogation claims, coordinating processes and approving payments
• Communicates with workers compensation claims handlers and updates databases while preparing reports

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in insurance, business, or a related field; progress towards industry-recognized professional designation preferred
• No experience required with proper education; one year of relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of the subrogation process and basic medical and legal terminology
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing workflows
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts professionally
