Senior Survey CAD Technician

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Survey CAD Technician will create, collect, analyze, and validate enterprise asset data while processing field data, preparing boundary surveys, and producing topographic maps to meet client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily field data using Trimble Business Center and convert data between various spatial formats
• Prepare highway right-of-way maps, ALTA boundary survey plats, and topographical surfaces from field data
• Research government files and public documentation to produce accurate maps and survey reports

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Trimble Business Center
• Experience with MicroStation, GeoPak, and/or OpenRoads is preferred
• Licensed Surveyor in Training (L.S.I.T) Certificate is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret highway plans, plats, and deeds
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
