Senior System Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Senior System Engineer will install, configure, and maintain IBM mainframe operating systems, including IBM z/OS, while working remotely in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS and ISV products using SMP/E
- Troubleshoot system issues, analyze dumps, and resolve software-related problems
- Collaborate with application teams and vendors for problem resolution and enhancements
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline plus 10 years of experience
- Strong experience with IBM z/OS internals and system components
- Proficiency in JCL, REXX, SAS, COBOL, and TSO/ISPF
- Experience with SMP/E for software installation and maintenance
- Ability to pass a Tier 4/HIGH Background Investigation
