Senior System Software Engineer
Job Summary
Architecting production software for datacenter power management controllers, the full-time Senior System Software Engineer will develop real-time controllers and drive features across the product lifecycle while collaborating with hardware architects and designers, with opportunities for remote work available.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, build, implement, and debug data center power and performance-management software
- Develop mechanisms that dynamically optimize performance, power, thermals, and energy efficiency under demanding workloads
- Lead the investigation and resolution of complex power, performance, stability, and reliability issues across software and hardware layers
Required qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 12+ years of extensive industry experience in crafting system software, embedded firmware, or device drivers
- Strong programming skills in C, with experience in developing and debugging complex low-level software
- Deep understanding of operating-system fundamentals and hardware-software interactions
- Proven ability to independently debug complex problems across multiple software and hardware layers
