Senior System Software Engineer

Job Summary

To develop pipelines for indexing and querying multi-modal content, the full-time Senior System Software Engineer will optimize Rust-based data processing frameworks and lead the development of Agentic Retrieval pipelines in a remote or onsite environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data processing frameworks for efficient handling of large datasets in GPU-accelerated environments
• Lead the iterative optimization of components for Agentic Retrieval pipelines to enhance performance and total cost of ownership
• Collaborate with LLM and ML researchers to build and evaluate production-level tools and library features within the growing LLM ecosystem

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 6+ years of experience in a similar or related role
• Experience with cloud software delivery and managing cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of MLOps technologies such as Docker-Compose, Containers, and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of NLP, LLM, VLM, Generative AI, and Agentic Retrieval workflows
