Senior System Software Engineer
Job Summary
Architecting production software for datacenter power management controllers, the full-time Senior System Software Engineer will develop real-time control mechanisms and collaborate with hardware designers to optimize performance and energy efficiency in next-generation data centers.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, build, implement, and debug data center power and performance-management software
- Drive features across the full product lifecycle, from requirements to production support
- Analyze complex interactions among workloads, power limits, thermals, and system-level policies
Required qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 12+ years of extensive industry experience in system software, embedded firmware, or device drivers
- Strong programming skills in C, with experience in developing and debugging low-level software
- Deep understanding of operating-system fundamentals and hardware-software interactions
- Proven ability to independently debug complex problems across multiple software and hardware layers
