Seeking a full-time Senior System Software Engineer with expertise in Linux systems programming to design, maintain, and optimize Slurm software components, while providing technical support and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain, improve, and optimize software components in C for Slurm
- Debug and fix complex issues related to Slurm's reliability and performance
- Provide direct technical support to internal teams or external customers
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in C development and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of memory management, pointers, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with debugging tools such as GDB and performance profiling
- Solid understanding of Linux kernel interfaces, system calls, and file systems
- Experience with containers and GPU technologies
