Senior System Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the bring-up of new platforms in the factory, the full-time Senior System Software Engineer will manage software from initial power-on, design factory workflows for firmware flashing and validation, and collaborate with partners to integrate NVIDIA tools into their manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the bring-up of new platforms across various levels, ensuring software readiness from the first power-on
• Design and implement workflows for firmware flashing, version validation, and security provisioning to achieve high first-pass yield
• Collaborate with ODMs, CMs, and OEMs to integrate and validate NVIDIA tools in partner factories

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data center firmware, platform software, or factory test software, with a relevant degree (BS, MS, or PhD) or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in factory or data center automation, including firmware flashing and diagnostics orchestration
• Strong Python programming skills, with knowledge of C/C++, shell scripting, and Linux systems
• Solid understanding of hardware interfaces (PCIe, USB, SMBus/I2C) and debugging during early bring-up phases
• Experience working with ODMs, CMs, or CSPs in new product introduction and volume production contexts
