Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Systems Administrator to perform high-level operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex operating systems and server hardware in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, ensuring optimal performance and data recoverability
- Coordinate and execute software installations and upgrades, while developing and implementing standard operating procedures
- Conduct hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established standards and policies
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in system administration with a focus on cloud infrastructure
- Proven experience managing AWS environments, including core services like EC2, S3, and RDS
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position
