Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Systems Administrator will manage high-level operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex operating systems and server hardware, while ensuring optimal performance and data recoverability.
Key responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operational maintenance and support for complex operating systems and server hardware
- Coordinate and execute complex software installations and upgrades while maintaining compliance with IT procedures
- Monitor and optimize system performance, implementing backup schedules and standard operating procedures
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in system administration with a focus on cloud infrastructure
- Proven track record managing complex Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field
