Senior Systems Administrator
Job Summary
To support a federal IT application modernization program, the full-time Senior Systems Administrator will manage, maintain, and secure enterprise application infrastructure within a Department of Defense environment, requiring remote work and a secret security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in Microsoft Azure environments
- Monitor and ensure the availability and performance of enterprise application infrastructure, including virtual machines and databases
- Perform system maintenance, vulnerability remediation, and support ongoing modernization initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of specialized application systems administration experience
- CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), and DoD 8140 baseline certifications
- Experience with Windows and Linux server administration and Microsoft Azure environments
- Active Secret security clearance with IT-I Critical Sensitive / Tier 5 investigation
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
