Job Summary
To support enterprise server systems, the contract Senior Systems Administrator will manage the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server infrastructure while working remotely for a 12-month engagement, with candidates required to reside within 50 miles of Orlando, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise server systems to ensure reliable operations
- Deploy, modify, and maintain Microsoft and Linux operating systems, focusing on RHEL8
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of IT work experience in enterprise-class environments
- Experience maintaining routers, switches, and wireless devices (3-5 years preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL administration
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
