Job Summary
To enhance infrastructure systems and processes, the full-time Senior Systems Administrator will design, implement, and maintain solutions while providing technical leadership and collaborating across teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Performs server and system administration tasks, including security permissions, performance tuning, and routine maintenance
- Designs, builds, tests, and deploys new systems and services to meet business needs
- Provides technical leadership and mentorship to System Administrators, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in systems administration, or associate degree with 7+ years, or high school equivalency with 10+ years of experience
- Experience with VMware vSphere, Windows Server administration, and Microsoft 365/Azure platforms
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and knowledge of cloud infrastructure elements
- Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM frameworks
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under pressure
