Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support a multi-client managed services environment, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will serve as the senior escalation point for infrastructure and platform issues, drive root cause analysis, and design technical solutions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Windows Server and Azure infrastructure, translating requirements into actionable documentation
- Administer and engineer Active Directory and Microsoft 365 workloads, ensuring compliance and security across client environments
- Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams and support staff, driving complex issue resolution and operational improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- Seven or more years of experience in systems engineering or enterprise IT operations
- Deep hands-on experience with Windows Server, virtualization technologies, and Azure infrastructure
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery design and implementation for production systems
- Industry certifications in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware, or ITIL Foundation preferred
