Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Experienced in cloud systems, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Production Support) will manage day-to-day operational support, troubleshoot system outages, and ensure compliance with security policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform high-level operational support of complex application cloud systems and resolve system outages
- Document problems and communicate status updates to users and senior management
- Maintain computing infrastructure and implement continuous improvement methodologies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure Cloud, including S3 and CloudWatch
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
