Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working fully remote within the United States, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will ensure the availability and performance of High Availability Rental Systems, implement enhancements, monitor product health, and resolve production issues while collaborating with various client teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure system health during maintenance events, including patching and upgrades
• Assist with the resolution of production issues related to performance, capacity, and outages
• Contribute to strategic capacity planning and represent the team on complex assignments

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software development engineering environment with technologies such as JAVA, Web Services, C/C++, and PL/SQL
• 2+ years of experience with Middleware configuration using Tuxedo, WebLogic, and TomCat
• 2+ years of experience as an AIX/Linux sysadmin and familiarity with associated tools
• 2+ years of scripting experience for automation or system administration (e.g., Shell/Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell)
• 1+ years of experience with monitoring tools like Splunk or Dynatrace
