Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Systems Engineer (Production Support) will perform high-level operational support for complex application cloud systems, develop technical solutions, and manage system outages while ensuring compliance with security policies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support for cloud systems and resolve system outages
- Document problems and maintain system configurations, processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production operations
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure Cloud services, including S3 and CloudWatch
- Strong skills in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
