Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will perform technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition for software systems and subsystems
- Utilize full-stack development expertise to create .Net back-end applications, including testing and deployment using CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure software performance, quality, and adherence to good engineering practices
Required qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core with strong knowledge of C# and MVC architecture
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices
