Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development using C# and .Net technologies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage software system product services including design, testing, installation, and maintenance
- Collaborate with the development team in daily stand-ups and ensure application performance and quality
- Document software designs and interface with stakeholders to gather project requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience in .Net development
- Expertise in .Net framework, C#, and MVC architecture for back-end application development
- Proficiency in database design and development, particularly with SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as unit testing frameworks like NUnit
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
