Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will perform technical planning, software development using C# and .Net, and ensure the quality and performance of applications in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration
- Develop and maintain back-end applications using .Net and C#, implementing CI/CD practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and improve software engineering practices
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field with at least five years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and MVC architecture
- Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Experience with RESTful APIs and unit testing frameworks such as NUnit
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and DevOps practices
