Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and provide development support for .Net applications while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition for software systems and subsystems
- Utilize full-stack development expertise in .Net, including back-end application development and deployment using CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure software quality and performance
Required qualifications
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core with a strong understanding of C#
- Proficiency in developing back-end applications using MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
- Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework for database design and development
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
