Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will perform technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration while utilizing expertise in .Net and C# in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct technical planning, requirements definition, and test planning for software systems
- Develop and maintain back-end applications using C# within the .Net framework, ensuring performance and quality
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and implement Agile practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field with at least five years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with a strong understanding of C# and MVC architecture
- Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as version control systems like GIT
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
