Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of .Net applications while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct technical planning and execute test planning for software systems and subsystems
- Develop and maintain back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring performance and quality
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and implement long-term solutions within an Agile framework
Required qualifications
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core with strong knowledge of C#
- Proficiency in developing applications using MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
- Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least five years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as Agile development methodologies
