Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Experienced in managing complex application cloud systems, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Production Support) will provide operational support, develop solutions for technical issues, and ensure compliance with security policies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform high-level operational support and maintenance of production systems
- Detect, document, and resolve system outages while communicating status to users and management
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies and maintain inventory of system assets
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, particularly in production environments
- Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure cloud services, including S3 and CloudWatch
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
