Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting complex application cloud systems, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Production Support) will perform operational support, develop solutions for technical issues, and ensure compliance with security policies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operational support and maintenance of complex application cloud systems
- Detect, isolate, document, and resolve system outages or problems while communicating status to users and management
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies and maintain inventory of system assets
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure Cloud services, including S3 and CloudWatch
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems, along with system administration tasks
- Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and experience with automation tools like Ansible or Puppet
