Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting day-to-day operations of complex application cloud systems, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Production Support) will perform high-level operational support, develop solutions to technical problems, and ensure compliance with security policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform high-level operational support and maintenance of cloud systems
- Detect, isolate, document, and resolve system outages and problems
- Communicate with users and senior management regarding system statuses and issues
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure Cloud services, including S3 and CloudWatch
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
