Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting strategic franchise initiatives, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will focus on developing and maturing innovative ground-segment capabilities for satellite relay services and multi-orbit architectures in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop ground-segment and end-to-end architectures for SES mPOWER-based satellite relay services and intersatellite links
- Translate space-segment concepts into executable ground architectures and integration approaches
- Manage system requirements, interfaces, and verification approaches using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of relevant Systems Engineering experience in developing or integrating complex technical systems
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and requirements management
- Broad understanding of satellite communications and ground infrastructure
- Familiarity with satellite ground stations, gateways, and command and control systems
