Job Summary
Leading the Edifecs application support organization, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer will ensure operational stability and compliance while managing staffing, driving roadmap execution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the Edifecs Platform Manager, overseeing application support and operational stability
- Guide architecture decisions and modernization efforts, focusing on cloud scalability and performance strategies
- Analyze and resolve mapping issues and performance bottlenecks while supporting release deployments and upgrades
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations with strong AWS experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture, transaction lifecycles, and EDI troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub, including collaborative workflows and branching strategies
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) and JIRA
