Senior Systems Engineer (C#)
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (C#/.Net) will perform technical planning, develop and maintain software systems, and collaborate with stakeholders in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration
- Utilize full-stack development expertise to build .Net back-end applications and ensure application performance and quality
- Document software designs and collaborate with team members on various solutions and problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field with five or more years of experience
- Expertise in .Net framework and C#, with proficiency in MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as database design using SQL Server
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
