Senior Systems Engineer (C#/.Net)
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (C#/.Net) will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development support in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution
- Utilize full-stack development expertise to build and maintain .Net applications, ensuring performance and quality
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and document software designs
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, with 5+ years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and MVC architecture
- Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as unit testing frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
