Senior Systems Engineer (C#/.Net)
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (C#/.Net) will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development support while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform technical planning, requirements definition, and test planning for software systems
- Utilize full-stack development expertise to create and maintain .Net applications, ensuring performance and quality
- Document software designs and collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements
Required qualifications
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C#
- Experience in developing back-end applications using MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
