Senior Systems Engineer (C#/.Net)
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (C#/.Net) will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development support while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution
- Utilize full-stack development expertise to create and maintain .Net back-end applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement long-term solutions within an Agile framework
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field with at least five years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Experience with RESTful APIs and version control systems like GIT
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Agile development methodologies
