Senior Systems Engineer (C#/.Net)
Job Summary
To support a growing Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (C#/.Net) will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and provide development support for applications in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage technical planning, requirements definition, and test execution for software systems
- Develop and maintain back-end applications using C# and .Net framework, ensuring performance and quality
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement Agile practices and promote good software engineering standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field with at least five years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and experience with database design using SQL Server
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools, along with experience in Agile development methodologies
