Job Summary
Focusing on media, entertainment, gaming, and sports accounts, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer - NY will manage technical relationships, design storage architectures, and collaborate with sales and customers to support demanding content production environments remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship on MEGS opportunities, from discovery and demos through POCs and architecture sign-off
- Partner with account teams to qualify deals and shape technical strategies for performance-intensive workloads
- Design architectures for modern production demands, ensuring throughput, low-latency access, and multi-site collaboration
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in a customer-facing technical role at a software, storage, or tech company, with 4+ years focused on media and entertainment
- Proven track record leading complex pre-sales engagements end to end
- Working knowledge of industry-standard tools such as Avid, Premiere, Nuke, and Maya
- Strong understanding of unstructured data storage for media, including file system performance and high-throughput I/O
- Ability to engage effectively with creative, technical, and executive audiences
