Senior Systems Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing Kubernetes Platform team, the full-time Senior Systems Software Engineer will demonstrate technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and develop software solutions leveraging cloud technologies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Mentor junior engineers and demonstrate technical leadership within the team
- Develop and apply engineering best practices to create software solutions and automation capabilities
- Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD) pipelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional IT experience, including 3+ years with AWS Cloud Services and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proficiency in modern programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Circle CI
