Job Summary
Supporting a growing U.S. and international tax function, the full-time Senior Tax Analyst will manage recurring indirect tax compliance across various jurisdictions, prepare tax returns, and coordinate with internal teams and external advisors while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and support recurring indirect tax compliance across U.S. sales and use tax, Canada GST/HST, EU VAT/OSS, Australia GST, and New Zealand GST
- Prepare monthly and quarterly tax returns and supporting workpapers, ensuring accurate and timely filings and payments
- Coordinate with Avalara and external advisors on filings, data requests, and compliance issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
- 4-7 years of progressive tax experience in a corporate, public accounting, or advisory environment
- Experience with U.S. sales and use tax and/or international VAT/GST compliance strongly preferred
- Experience with Avalara and NetSuite, including tax data extraction and reconciliation, strongly preferred
- CPA, EA, MST, or similar tax/accounting credential preferred but not required
